Flags to fly half-staff Tuesday in honor of Supreme Court Justice Stevens

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, in accordance with a proclamation from President Trump, announced all U.S. and Nebraska flags are to be flown at half-staff Tuesday to honor U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.

Justice Stevens passed away July 16 at 99. He served on the U.S. Supreme Court from 1975 to 2010.

Flags will be flown at half-staff on Tuesday only, which is the day of the interment of Justice Stevens.
