MOVE IT MONDAY: Working Out Your Abs

OMAHA, (Neb.) — Between being stuck at home and stress eating, it’s easy to push off working out. In this week’s Move It Monday we’re focusing on getting our core in shape.
This week we’re trying out a new style of working out called Tabata. Tabata consists of doing 20 seconds of work and ten seconds of rest. In Tabata you do eight rounds. During this workout, you will do several Tabata ab exercises with 1 minute planks in between.

· 1 minute plank
· Tabata Lemon Squeezers: Do 20 seconds. Rest 10 seconds. Repeat eight times.
· 1 minute plank
· Tabata Russian Twist: Do 20 seconds. Rest 10 seconds. Repeat eight times.
· 1 minute plank
· Tabata Hollow Hold: Do 20 seconds. Rest 10 seconds. Repeat eight times.
· 1 minute plank
Be sure to do a 5-minute warmup before starting and a 5-10 minute cool-down at the end.
