OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 132 & Q St early Saturday morning that left one in critical condition.

The crash happened around 5:35 a.m.

Authorities say a 2016 Ford F-150 was stopped for a red light southbound on 132nd St.

A 2012 Nissan Altima was northbound on 132nd St, traveling at a high rate of speed. The Nissan ran the red light at Q St and struck the Ford head on.

The Ford pushed backwards approximately 100 ft due to the force of the collision.

Both occupants of the Nissan and the driver of the Ford were transported to Bergan Mercy.

The Nissan driver, identified as 21-year-old Dylan McCormick, suffered minor injuries. Alcohol use on part of McCormick was a contributing factor.

Katie Hoschwender, 20, was the passenger in the Nissan. She is in critical condition.

Jeff Baulisch, 59, was the driver of the Ford. He suffered a fractured vertebrae that is not considered life-threatening.

Charges are pending in the crash which is currently under investigation.
