OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Adding to a violent weekend in Omaha, a 39-year-old male victim is recovering after a shooting early Sunday. Due to conflicting accounts of the incident, officers are unable to determine where exactly the shooting occurred.
Omaha Police responded to CUMC-University Campus at 1:15 a.m. Sunday after a victim of a shooting arrived.
George Banister, 39, was taken by rescue squad to CUMC-Bergan Mercy for treatment.
Banister's injury is non-life threatening.
