The body of a missing Saunders County teacher found

SAUNDERS COUNTY, Neb. (KMTV) — The body of a missing elementary school teacher has been found as law enforcement continues to investigate.

Tammy Sukstorf, 52, of Cedar Bluffs, and a teacher at Cedar Bluffs Elementary, was last seen on July 5th around 10:30 pm. After two days worth of searching her body was found Sunday evening.

According to the Saunders County Sheriffs Office her vehicle was located just a few miles from her home with her personal belongings still inside.

The Sheriff's Office also says foul play is not suspected at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Cedar Bluffs school superintendent Harlan Ptomey released the following statement:
