OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Twenty four years ago Tuesday, Officer Jimmy Wilson, Jr. was shot and killed while protecting the streets of Omaha.
On August 20, 1995, Officer Wilson, 24, made a routine traffic stop. Gang members got out of their vehicle and fatally shot him.
