Two injured in shooting at the Royal Grove

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Two were injured overnight at the Royal Grove, a live music venue in Lincoln.

A little after 2 a.m., officers responded to a report of several people shot at the Royal Grove, located at 340 W. Cornhusker.

After arriving, officers were unable to locate any victims; however, police spoke with several witnesses and recovered evidence indicating that shots had been fired in the parking lot and general vicinity of the venue.

A female victim later showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound and indicated she'd been shot at the Royal Grove.

Police say the victim was treated and released for a minor injury.

A male victim later showed up at an Omaha hospital with a gunshot wound, saying he had been shot at the Royal Grove. He was treated for a minor injury.

The Omaha Police Department is assisting in the investigation.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Police say there is no ongoing threat to the community.
