NEBRASKA

  • 23,818 total positive cases according to CDC
  • 316 total deaths according to CDC
  • 249,344 total tests done

Test Nebraska reached a milestone having tested more than 100,000 Nebraska residents since the program launched in April. Approximately 30% of all COVID-19 tests in Nebraska have been conducted through Test Nebraska.

    DOUGLAS COUNTY
    - 142 new coronavirus cases reported Friday
    - 9,368 coronavirus cases reported since the start of the outbreak
    - 6,076 coronavirus recoveries reported since the start of the outbreak
    - No new coronavirus deaths reported Friday

    SIENA FRANCIS HOUSE

    • First confirmed positive COVID-19 test on July 14, 2020.
    • 5 additional positive cases of former clients of the male emergency shelter found on July 24.
    • 347 tests were administered on site.

    THREE RIVERS HEALTH DEPARTMENT

    • Dodge County: 737 cases
    • Saunders County: 107 cases
    • Washington County: 86 cases
    • Total 3RPHD Case Count: 930 cases
    • 76 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19. 214 medical beds were available.
    • Of the 429 ventilators available to area hospitals, 131 were in use, including 11 for confirmed COVID-19 patients.

    DOUGLAS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

    • 15 correctional officers and one contractor with the Douglas County Department of Corrections have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks. A total of 23 employees and one contractor have tested positive.
    • 7 incarcerated individuals have also tested positive for the virus in the last few weeks while at Corrections, bringing the total to 14.
      • 4 were positive with the virus prior to being booked into the jail.
      • 3 were not positive before being booked.
    • As a result of contact tracing, over 80 additional staff members and approximately 50 incarcerated individuals are being tested for the virus.

    LANCASTER COUNTY

    • 49 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lancaster County today, bringing the community total to 2,718.
    • No new deaths. Fatal cases remains at 14.
    • 1,008 have recovered from the illness.
    • 15 hospitalized with the virus
      • 11 from Lancaster County and four from other communities.
