DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- 67 additional positive cases for a total of 14,474 cases
- For the week that ended yesterday, Douglas County had 529 positive cases from 7,153 tests for a positivity rate of 7.4%
- This compares to a positivity rate of 10.5% with 836 cases the week ending Aug. 15 when the Omaha City Council passed the mask mandate
- No additional deaths
- Total of 178 deaths
- 10,809 residents have recovered from COVID-19
- As of Saturday, metro hospitals had 248 beds available for an 82% occupancy rate
- There were 80 inpatients diagnosed with COVID-19 and 26 additional persons of interest
- 19 individuals who were suspected or confirmed of having COVID-19 were on ventilators
LINCOLN-LANCASTER COUNTY
- 53 additional positive cases for a total of 5,155 cases
- Number of deaths remains at 21
IOWA
- 814 additional positive COVID-19 cases for a total of 74,361 cases
- 2 additional deaths for a total of 1,218 deaths
- 53,120 residents have recovered
