COVID-19 tests available for Nebraska prison inmates

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — All Nebraska inmates will now get the option of taking a coronavirus test.

Corrections officials say the tests will be given at all 10 state facilities during the next few weeks.

So far, seven inmates, all at the Omaha Corrections Center, have tested positive.

The state says 19 corrections workers have tested positive, with 10 now returning to work.
