Douglas County attorney Don Kleine has confirmed that a prosecutor in his office has tested positive for coronavirus.

The prosecutor had gotten back from training a week and a half ago where someone there had tested positive. He was tested Friday due to his exposure and the results came back positive on Monday.

However, he had been at work all of last week. The Douglas County Health Department has been notified and people with possible exposure are advised to self-quarantine for two weeks.

The prosecutor has exposed the different courthouses as well -- those will be deep cleaned to prevent spreading. Kleine says a number of staff will now be working from home and that they prepared for something like this to happen to make sure all operations can still continue.
