OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Dept. (DCHD) announced four new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday.

These individuals include a woman in her 30's and three men ranging in age from their 40's to 70's. One case is considered community spread and one person is hospitalized, DCHD said.

There are currently 38 cases, three of which are community spread, in Douglas County.

Nebraska has 64 cases of coronavirus statewide.

The health department's Epidemiology Team continues to investigate.

Additionally, the health department advises that precautions to avoid coronavirus need to be taken throughout the community -- not only in locations previously listed as having the potential for exposure.

The DCHD said it's also important to consider many who are sick have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.
