Four UNO athletic programs suspended due to COVID

OMAHA, NE — The University of Nebraska Omaha announced Wednesday that it was temporarily halting workouts for 4 university athletics programs due to student athletes who have contracted COVID-19.

In a statement from the university, the school said that in its most recent report, 16 students tested positive for COVID, 13 of whom were student athletes.

The four sports involved are women's softball, men's basketball, men's baseball and women's volleyball.
