LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) – Gov. Pete Ricketts talked about the state's response to the coronavirus at a news conference on Wednesday.

He announced that directed health measures are coming for Dodge, Saunders and Lancaster counties.

Ricketts also said that he signed an executive order pushing back eviction hearings to May 31.

“It applies specifically to people who have lost their job, been sick, kids at home so you can’t go to work,” he said.

The order also waives the statute that requires courts to hear eviction cases within a certain amount of time.
