Lincoln Public Schools offers meals for any child in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Lincoln Public Schools announced on Monday that it would be offering Grab-n-Go Meals for for any child under 18 in Lincoln.

The school district shared the announcement on social media, saying it would be providing lunch or breakfast Monday through Friday while supplies last for children in Lincoln, regardless of whether or not they are enrolled in a LPS school. The district would be handing out one meal per child, and the child would have to be present to receive the meal.

The meals can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at seven locations:

Belmont Elementary School (3425 North 14th St.)
Arnold Elementary School (5000 Mike Scholl Street)
Hartley Elementary School (730 North 33rd St.)
(NEW) Calvert Elementary School (3709 S. 46th St.)
Park Middle School (855 South 8th St.)
Northeast High School (2635 North 63rd St.)
Lincoln High School (2229 J Street)
