OMAHA, NE — A local medical student knew he couldn't help on the front lines of the Coronavirus pandemic just yet, but found a way to still give back to the community by starting a non-profit.

Ryan Jespersen and Sunny Massa co-founded Support Your NEighbor COVID-19. The goal is to help the most vulnerable population during the pandemic. The site helps the elderly order groceries and medicine with instructional videos. They also help deliver if necessary and offer companionship to those who may simply just need a call to check-in.

"This is really what this whole organization and program is all about. Bringing together the whole Omaha community and being a good neighbor," Massa said.

To help volunteer or use the services you can contact the organization by e-mail or phone.
