OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The NFL's 'draft-a-thon' kicks off today and it's more than just a virtual draft.

This year it's also a fundraiser for COVI-19 relief efforts. One of the seven charities benefiting is the Salvation Army, the nations largest social service provider.

Here in our area, the Salvation Army has served thousands of men, women and children in need across nine core areas.

They have provided more than 44,000 meals with over 24,000 volunteer hours with it's disaster services.
