Papillion nursing home patient tests positive for coronavirus

PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) — A resident at Papillion Manor nursing home tested positive for coronavirus and has been moved to an area hospital.

According to a post by Papillion Manor, the patient was previously at a hospital in Omaha and was brought to the nursing home last week. Keeping with mandated protocol the person was kept in a secluded room when symptoms began to develop.

Last night, the nursing home received notice that the person had a confirmed coronavirus diagnosis and they say the patient has since been transferred to an Omaha hospital.

All people who came into contact with the person have been notified.
