OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Monday morning, Lincoln Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced that three new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Lincoln.
These new cases bring the community’s total to 55. The cases are three men, two in their 50s and one in his 40s according to LLCHD, which is said to be investigating.
LLCHD is now monitoring 75 individuals. Lancaster County reports one death, 1,673 negative tests and 55 positives with 15 cases pending at the Nebraska Public Health Lab. There are now 815 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nebraska and 17 deaths.
The Mayor and LLCHD will hold a briefing at 3:30 p.m., Monday. Because of a City Council meeting at 3 p.m., the briefing will air live only on LNKTV Health, the City government access health channel.
