University of Nebraska-Lincoln announces coronavirus case

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced its first confirmed case of coronavirus on Thursday night.

The case involves a Selleck Hall dining services employee who was last in contact with students on March 30.

The case has been determined to be community spread. Selleck Hall has not been in use since March 30 and many students have left campus for remote learning.

The school says the risk is exposure is low. They are working to notify people who may have come in contact with the employee.

The employee is currently self-isolating at home.
