OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — As we report on the number of coronavirus cases, It's easy to look at just the numbers. However, there is a name behind every case

Chenelle Thompson is from Bellevue. She is currently being treated at Nebraska Medicine in the COVID-19 unit.

Thompson, who's been in the hospital for the last four days, says her symptoms are a cough, shortness of breath as well as loss of taste and smell.

Thompson says she is starting to feel better, and wants to remind people to speak with a doctor immediately if they start having symptoms.

"I think it's just really important that we love and care for each other by being careful and having concern and care for our fellow people and be very careful about what we do and how we feel, that's all."
