16 area businesses cited for selling alcohol to minors

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — As a result of compliance checks conducted at alcohol retailers, 16 businesses were cited for selling alcohol to minors.

Omaha Metro area law enforcement officers conducted compliance checks on May 17-18 resulting in seven percent of the retail outlets checked in Douglas and Sarpy County being cited for selling alcohol to minors.

In total, there were 242 stores checked. Included in the list are Casey's General Stores, Legends Patio Bar & Grill, Chili's, Indian Creek Golf Course, and Mary's restaurant. You can see a full list of businesses cited and all that were checked by clicking here.

One of the businesses, El 7 Mares, was cited for the second time in less than four years. All other 15 businesses are facing their first offense.
