Police identify the driver killed in a crash.
The victim is 23-year-old Chaneel Walton.
Investigators say speed caused Walton to lose control of northbound car on I-480, near the on-ramp of Highway 75, around 9 p.m.Friday night.
The car went off the road and hit the concrete base for an overhead sign.
Medics took the driver to CHI Creighton, where Walton died a short time later.
The crash forced crews to shutdown the Highway 75 on-ramp for more than three hours.
