Thirty seven Nebraska coworkers will split a Powerball prize of $50,000 after their ticket matched four of Wednesday’s winning numbers and the Powerball number.
That means each participant in the lottery pool will get $1,351.35.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Pump and Pantry near 110th and Harrison Streets in La Vista.
Lottery officials say 37 employees of Baxter Auto in La Vista pooled their money for a chance at the jackpot worth $1.5 billion.
When they began the office pool, every participant put in $5, but for Wednesday’s drawing they increased it to $10.
Four other tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Nebraska.
