We're 99 days from kick-off of the new Husker football season, but even with "Frost Fever" there are some tickets left to be purchased by fans.
The Nebraska Athletic Department says they'll put 600 season tickets on sale on May 30 for the general public. Last year there were 1,500 season tickets available in June and some were still for sale days before the season started.
Fans are glad others get the chance to get in the game.
"I'm surprised there's some left but i think it's great because i think they're going to go really fast and then next year I don't think there will be any to sell anymore," said Lori Sheppard, a Husker Season Ticket Holder.
Chad Carr, President of Ticket Express, says he's not surprised there are season tickets left because of the donation that's attached to the ticket prices.
They're so excited about the season they're offering a promotion. If Nebraska wins the Big 10 Championship any Husker home game tickets purchased from Ticket Express by June 1 would be free.
"A lot of people have said that will never happen but the cool thing about sports is you just don't know," Carr explained. "We definitely have realistic expectations but yet at the same time what if?"
Husker Season tickets cost $399 each, not including a donation to the university which start at $150 per ticket.
