Patriotic Productions is working on yet another honor flight but this time it will only take female veterans.

Bill Williams, co-founder of Patriotic Productions, said over the years, people have asked about sending female veterans to Washington, D.C., to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This trip is only for in-country veterans from World War II in the European or Pacific theaters, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Williams said no one who served state-side will be considered.

"We don't know what the response is going to be as these applications start flowing in in the next few days, then we are going to get an indication of how many want to go," Williams said.

It's not just the veterans who will be female, everyone on board, too — including the flight crew.

"All the guardians are female, and just over the past couple of days the phones have been ringing," Williams said.

The trip encompasses a tour of the iconic war memorials, but this flight will offer a couple different detours.

"There's also a women's memorial which is near the entrance of Arlington we will make that a stop," Williams said.

The price tag on this trip is roughly $175,000, and Williams is seeking new donors.

"We had promised our big donors that the final mission was the final mission that we wouldn't come asking for money anymore," Williams said.

If you are interested in being a part of this next honor flight, you can submit an application via the Patriotic Productions website.
