OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — To help get fireworks, guns, and ammo off the street the Omaha Police Department allowed people to drop those items off in a no questions asked setting. Amnesty Day took place at Seymour Smith park and the fire station off 103rd.
O.P.D. says they collected 20 long guns, six handguns, 650 pounds of ammo, and 300 pounds of fireworks.
