Attorneys for Anthony Garcia, who is accused in four murders, are now not able to practice law in Nebraska.
In court Thursday, a judge allowed local attorneys for Garcia to withdraw, preventing the Mottas from practicing in the state.
Alison Motta briefly comments on the latest development, saying she was surprised.
The judge’s decision delays the trial.
