Anthony Garcia's lawyer wants more tax dollars to cover legal bills

Posted

The lawyer for Creighton killer, Anthony Garcia, wants more tax dollars following the guilty verdicts in the high profile case.

The Omaha World Herald is reporting that Jeremy Jorgenson is asking Douglas County District Judge Gary Randall for $42,000 in "expert fees" on top of the $25,000 he already received in September.

Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine disapproves.

A jury convicted Garcia of killing four people over a period of five years as revenge for getting fired from the Creighton Pathology Department.
