OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A fire at an apartment building left ten people displaced early Sunday morning, according to the Omaha Fire Department (OFD).
At 4:49 a.m., a fire was reported at 10016 Crown Point Plaza. Crews saw heavy flames from blocks away.
Upon arrival, the fire was located on two exterior decks and through the apartment's roof, OFD says.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and helped residents out of the building.
Red Cross was on scene to assist the ten occupants displaced by the fire.
Two occupants were taken to local hospitals in serious condition for breathing difficulties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
