Bars across the metro are getting ready for the influx of patrons as St. Patrick's Day falls on a Saturday.

The Marylebone Tavern on 37th and Leavenworth Street is a long-standing hotspot in Omaha on the holiday.

"I think we're prepared, I think we're ready," said Marylybone owner Marten Mejstrik.
They pained a four-leaf clover on the street outside the bar spanning the entire road outside the bar.

The owner said they ordered many more cases of beer, food and having eight bartenders.

They are also beefing up their own security as the bar will be standing room only.

OPD will also be on alert, with at $16,000 grant adding more officers on the roads to keep people safe during this notorious drinking holiday.

"They'll be conducting speed enforcement, looking for violators running red lights a lot of high-accident causing violations," said OPD Sergeant Chuck Casey.

OPD's enforcement will include 5 more officers and 1 sergeant specially for DUI enforcement.
