BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) — The floodwaters have gone down, but not everyone is allowed to return home.

In one mobile home park, some people are going back, but others aren't so lucky.

Wednesday afternoon, Bellevue Police prepared to let about 40 residents of Green Acres in Bellevue come back to their homes.

These were the ones that didn't get flooded… but many others are still underwater.

"The unknown--I mean, what are we going to walk into when we finally get into our home?"

Becky and Fran Cobbs weren't part of the lucky ones.

They haven't seen their place, but can only imagine it's still filled with floodwaters. Their whole life is in that home--along with sentimental things they can never get back. However, they continue to push forward because they have to for their family.

"It's a reality now that we have to live with and try to pick up the pieces and move on. Somehow, someway, we have to move on."
