U.S. Senator Ben Sasse is cosponsoring a new policy, the "El Chapo" act.
El Chapo, in this case, stands for Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order. The El Chapo act would reserve any amounts forfeited to the United States Government by El Chapo for security measures along the Southern border, including completion of a border wall.
Senator Ted Cruz originally intoduced the act back at the beginning of January.
