OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Komlanvi Avitso is charged with First Degree Sexual assault and a second count where the victim was mentally or physically incapable of giving consent. A judge set his bond at $400,000 Tuesday.
Omaha Police arrested him Friday on suspicion of sexually assaulting an Omaha woman.
The alleged incident took place in May.
Police say Avitso's DNA ties him to the crime.
Avitso is scheduled to be back in court on September 4th.
