A judge set bond for a woman arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at $500,000.
Secretia Benton, who is accused of being an accessory to felony in the shooting death of Jarrell Haynes, must pay 10 percent, which equals $50,000, in order to be released from jail.
Haynes was shot and killed on Wednesday, March 2, just hours after he was turned away from attending the trial of Charles Trotter because he didn’t have the proper identification to get in.
Police said Haynes got into an altercation with someone else at the courthouse for a different reason.
Police have not released any other details about the investigation as they continue to search for the shooter.
