He's been on the job for nearly a year, but the University of Nebraska will formally install Hank Bounds as president on Friday.
Installation events will begin Friday at 10 a.m. With a ceremony at Kimball Recital Hall on the UNL campus. The ceremony will include a speech from Bounds, and remarks from University of Southern Mississippi President Dr. Rodney Bennett. Bounds is expected to reflect on his first year as president and lay out his goals for the future. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Van Brunt Visitors Center.
Bounds began his tenure as the seventh president of the University of Nebraska on April 13, 2015.
