OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - After being stopped for a traffic violation, Frank Winter and Katylen Nicholson, both of California, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The couple was found with close to a pound of meth after their car was sniffed by a Douglas County Sheriff's dog.

At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night, Winter and Nicholson had their car searched by a Douglas County Sheriff K-9 deputy after there were several inconsistencies in their reason for travel.

Winter and Nicholson are being held at the Douglas County Department of Corrections.
