People bringing their animals to a popular dog park say a car break in now has them looking over their shoulders.
Some people say car break-ins are becoming more common there and thieves may be using dog owner's time at the park as an opportunity to steal.
Gary Sherman says he comes here all the time with his three dogs but never thought he'd have to worry about people stealing.
"I've been coming out her for 3 years and it's the first time that anything like this has ever happened that I know of," said Sherman.
He says over the weekend someone's personal items were snatched while they were out playing with their dog.
"I was really surprised cause of this all so open that I don't see why anyone didn't notice especially with them breaking the window." said Sherman.
Some say they will park closer to keep an eye on what's happening in the parking lot.
"People get to gathering around to talking an watching their dogs and they are not paying attention to what happened with their cars and I think it's a wakeup call," said Sherman.
