It took only a few minutes for the person driving this 1990's red Honda CRV to get in and out with the Kounnavong family's life savings.

"They went straight to the room and took a huge safe, so it had to be two people to take it," said Johnny Kounnavong.

Johnny Kounnavong says he was able to get this surveillance video from a neighbor, and has been studying it closely since it happened.

"You can kind of see them if you look close enough," said Kounnavong.

The family owns Thai Orchids in La Vista and say they've worked hard for everything they've earned.

"80 thousand cash in there, jewelry and all of our valuables in there."

The homeowner does not want to be identified because she's afraid the thieves may strike again.

"I'm shaking up, all our life savings since we were married."

Kounnavong says cousins left the door unlocked while playing at the park, and that's how the bad guys got in.

"He told me something happened to the house, it was trashed and everything, they broke through the door and what not," said Kounnavong.

No one in the family has ever seen this car before.

"I don't feel safe because we have been here for 25 years and nothing like this has ever happened and we live in a fairly safe neighborhood," said Kounnavong.

They're still in shock and hope the video will lead police to the people responsible.

"I just hope and pray that they get caught that's the only thing I can do."

The family is offering a one thousand dollar reward for anyone who can help find the people responsible and also six months of free meals at the Thai Orchids.
