Car versus motorcycle accident outside of Ashland

A vehicle collided with a motorcycle on the intersection of Highway 66 and Highway 6, a few miles outside of Ashland Wednesday evening.

Police say the driver of a Buick did not see the motorcycle and failed to yield for the driver. 

Ashland police say the motorcyclist flew off the bike and crashed with the Buick's windshield and passenger door before landing on the concrete.

The motorist was flown to Creighton Medical Center by Life Net with injuries to the head, back and arm. The driver of the Buick suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. 

Police did not say if any there would be any charges in this accident.
