OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — We could learn more about Nebraska's efforts to get students back to class in the next few weeks.
Governor Pete Ricketts and other state leaders will talk about steps aimed at making it a safe return.
In the meantime, Omaha's Catholic schools are preparing to open with all their students this fall. Each of the 70 schools plans to begin next month, with leaders in each building deciding whether masks will be required.
School leaders say plans will be in place in case there are more interruptions again this year.
