Severe storms rolled through Cedar Bluffs on Tuesday and many residents lost power.
However they didn't let that stop them from enjoying the evening.
Cortney Spangler and her 3-year-old son, Emerson waited outside and played in the puddles the rain left behind. "Our power is really sensitive around here, a month or so ago lightning hit that tree over there and it knocked into the power cable and our power went out for a while then too."
"It's great to have the rain come through, we needed that real bad and right now it's like awesome. I just came outside to look for a rainbow and I was lucky enough to find one," said Denise Kerchinske.
Hours after power was lost, residents said it was restored soon after.
