OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — People living and working over by Center street are hoping to make some big changes to the area.
Yesterday the "Center Street Action Team" brought neighborhoods together to write post cards to the mayor asking her to support their plan.
The action team wants to create a walking area between 34th and 36th streets. The walking area would reduce traffic to three lanes, add parking, and widen sidewalks.
