Charges are pending for a driver involved in a single-vehicle crash Friday evening.
Crews responded to 69th and Seward Street just before 8 p.m.. According to the investigation report, a Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling westbound on Seward at a high rate of speed.
Witnesses on scene and evidence collected show the Eclipse drove out of its lane, over the south curb and hit a tree in the yard of 6925 Seward.
The driver of the Eclipse, 26-year-old Nicholas Anderson was the only person in the vehicle. He was transported to Nebraska Medicine with serious injuries that are non-life threatening.
Speed and alcohol are factors in the crash.
