OMAHA — After the city of Omaha announced that it had cleared all main and residential streets following last Saturday's blizzard, the clock began for homeowners and businesses to clear snow from the sidewalks. The deadline for getting the job done was 6 .a.m Thursday morning.
Thursday morning, 3 News Now reporter Alexa Reye drove around town to see what the sidewalks looked like. For the most part, it looked like people did their jobs and got the sidewalks cleared.
There are still sidewalks though that have not been cleared. If you know of an area that needs to be cleared, you can report it to the city.
Residents and businesses that don't clear their sidewalks could face a large bill if the city eventually cleans the sidewalk.
