PLATTSMOUTH, NEb. (KMTV) — Update:
Plattsmouth Police say a 7-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle after running into the roadway at the 1500 block of west 8th Avenue. He was not using a crosswalk.
They say the vehicle was being driven by a 16 year old traveling eastbound.
No citations were issued.
The boy was treated and released without any further treatment needed.
Plattsmouth Emergency Medical Services says a child has been struck by a vehicle and asking people to avoid the area. They say the incident happened near 8th Avenue by the Dairy Queen.
