OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV — An event put on by Mission Church seeked to inspire and support flood victims,with plenty of other church and christian non-profits joining in.
The main event was a concert, with a band singing inspirational songs, lifting up those in attendance.
"We do what we do out of love, so it's basically letting people know we love you, we got resources, want to pray for you. It's not the end of the road, you got flooded out but it ain't over with,” says Pastor of Mission Church Village 2, Ron Smith.
Some of the other organizations and churches involved include: Restore church and Glow church.
Now if those in attendance did want to donate to flood victims, several of the organizations there including Omaha Rapid Response were taking money that would go to victims.
