Water bottles, diapers and non-perishable food line a semi truck trailer out on 155th and Dodge Street in the parking lot of Lifegate Church.

“The people in Houston need our help here from Omaha,” said Lifegate Executive Pastor Connie Bissen.

The supplies come from donors all across the metro like Shelly Ballard, “It breaks my heart for them”.

“I've been wanting to help and haven't gotten around to it,” said Donna Dolan who donated today.

According to the church who has three members currently down in Texas, there’s entire communities without water and need canned food such as soups and tuna.

If you would like to donate, volunteers will be at the truck from 8:30a.m. until 5:30p.m. this week.
