OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — At Tuesday's Omaha City Council meeting, pay raises for Mayor Jean Stothert and members of the council were discussed.
A 3% annual raise was mentioned at the meeting; however, councilmember Aimee Melton wants to amend the proposed ordinance to raise the salaries using economic factors and not just give an automatic 3% raise.
Most of the council seemed to favor some sort of raise.
