It's a matter of life, death or getting seriously injured, if you don’t wear your seat belt.
So as part of a nationwide effort to make sure people make it to their families in one piece, the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety dished out $15,000 in grant money.
The money will be used to get extra officers on the street this Thanksgiving. They’ll enforce the state’s seatbelt and child restraint laws.
